Carbon+Alt+Delete is a climate tech start-up at the crossroad of technology and sustainability. Our software supports sustainability consultants in reducing the carbon footprint of companies. We are looking for a driven Sustainability Engineer to strengthen our team.

About the job

As core part of our sustainability expert team, you will:

  • Drive ongoing research projects and contribute to applying for new research projects;
  • Follow-up on the latest changes in legislation on sustainability reporting to ensure our carbon accounting software remains up-to-date and compliant;
  • Translate the outcome of research and changes in legislation into product features which can be implemented by the dev team

You will work closely together with Felix Hoornaert, who’s currently leading the sustainability expert team. Given our start-up nature, you will have a direct impact on the business and get the opportunity to grow together with Carbon+Alt+Delete.

About your profile

We are looking for someone with:

  • A strong drive to have a positive impact
  • A product mindset to actively contribute to building our carbon accounting software
  • An affiliation with (European) legislation on sustainability reporting
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the sustainability sector
  • Fluency in English (any other language is a plus)
