Business Operations Owner
Carbon+Alt+Delete is a climate tech start-up at the crossroad of technology and sustainability. Our software supports sustainability consultants with measuring and reducing the carbon footprint of companies. We are looking for a driven Business Operations Owner to strengthen our team.
About the job
You will execute and optimize the internal operations of Carbon+Alt+Delete, on topics linked to finance, people and events:
- Support our CEO in managing and following up on budgets and actuals
- Process and manage incoming and outgoing invoices
- Manage HR administration, such as contracting and payroll
- Organise internal events, such as the annual onsite
- Support marketing and sales in organising external events and travel
You will work closely together with our co-founder and CEO Kenneth Van den Bergh, as well with our accountant and social secretariat. Given our scale-up nature, you will have a direct impact on the business and get the opportunity to grow together with Carbon+Alt+Delete.
About your profile
We are looking for someone with:
- A strong drive to have a positive impact
- An entrepreneurial mindset to actively contribute to building Carbon+Alt+Delete
- At least 5 years of working experience in mid-sized or large companies, in functions related to HR, finance or PA
- Fluency in Dutch and English

About our offer
We offer a payroll contract of undetermined duration for 0.5 FTE up to 1 FTE (details can be discussed). We provide a competitive renumeration package and a flexible working environment (i.e., combination of homeworking with days at the office in Mechelen). Foreseen starting date is October 2025.
